Amidst the festive cheer, let's reflect on the essence,
For to disregard its depth would be a grievous offense.
That infant, in Bethlehem's humble abode,
Shapes the soul of who I've become, bearing its code.
With gratitude profound, our voices rise above,
Releasing waves of thanks, a symphony of love.
Caught in the allure of gifts, sparkling and bright,
Yet, let's not forget the One who gifted us this night.
To speak of the one who gave all for our sake,
A conversation not to be sidestepped or forsake.
To cherish each moment, to share love's pure ray,
A call that beckons us to heed each day.
Amid the tinsel and the twinkle, let us adorn,
Yet, remember the light from which our hearts are born.
As the tree sparkles with a radiant glee,
May our hearts shimmer with that same decree.
