An Aspiration for Christ-like Compassion

I yearn for a heart akin to Christ's,
To proclaim my love for God, as daylight breaks and night bids adieu.
A resolve to shield against any cause that would God's grace abuse.

This heart, akin to Christ's, fuels an unwavering quest,
To evolve into a beacon of His love, the ultimate litmus test.

Oh, to stand tall as a testament to His divine grace,
A mirror reflecting His light in every stride I embrace.

Forgiveness, a cloak worn without hesitation,
Extending grace within, and towards self, with no reservation.

In ceaseless worship, may my heart find its tune,
A melody resonating like David's, beneath sun, beneath moon.

Let love, Christ's love, be the tapestry I weave,
Draping it around every soul I cross, in this journey we believe.

As hands are extended, let hearts unfurl wide,
Easing burdens of those in need, turning the tide.

May giving be instinctual, free from any doubt,
In the shadow of His sacrifice, understanding His route.

Let the truth of His love, like a river, overflow,
Pouring into hearts and souls, His embrace to bestow.

In moments of solitude, kneeling in silent prayer,
Communion with Him deepening a divine connection rare.

To give without second thoughts, a reflex untamed,
Grasping the essence of His sacrifice, that unending flame.

May His love cascade like a waterfall's art,
Enveloping all in its warmth, to each corner of every heart.

This heart like Christ's, a reflection from above,
A testament to His divine grace, a testament to His love.
