Mom, you’re a special treasure, a gift beyond measure,
You mean more to me than the world could ever see.
The Lord placed you here with love and grace,
For the day of my birth—a moment we embrace.
Someday we’ll know why we share that special day,
But if I could choose, I’d have it no other way.
For all the nights you stayed up late to trim the Christmas tree,
And all the thoughtful gifts you chose just for me.
For every time you tucked me in and read me stories too,
And all the ways you cheered me up when I was feeling blue.
For cookies baked and stockings stuffed with care,
For messes cleaned and pillows fluffed beyond compare.
For every day you loved me, even when I made it hard,
Your love shines bright—it’s the light in my heart.
For all these things, and so much more,
You’re a shining star I’ll forever adore.
So here’s a Christmas poem, filled with love so true,
A simple thank-you for all that you do!
Proverbs 31:28–29 "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praised her: 'Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.’"
